Storage and retention

Counselling records are retained for seven years after therapy ends before being securely destroyed, in line with professional guidance.

Where appropriate, your name and contact details may also be securely stored with a confidential clinical executor service so that a trusted person can contact you if I become unable to practise due to serious illness or death. These details are removed once counselling has ended.
